That sometimes gets into interview questions… and I came to think about it some.
What makes a good QA in my opinion, is a person that can methodically collect all unbiased data without prejudice, do analysis (whether it’s risk or otherwise) on it based on the context and give appropriate meaningful feedback that can have action taken on it.
I am not fully at that point yet. I still have my biases and opinions, and sometimes I prejudge what may happen without fully collecting all the data. I have lots to learn.
