My dad had told me that doing what you do for work isn’t good enough.
“You have to keep up with the times in what’s going on with the world, keep learning new things, and keep trying to improve. It doesn’t matter if you had a number of years if you keep doing the same thing over and over again, you have to figure out how to do things better. That’s where ingenuity comes in.
If you only do what you do over and over again for a number of years, sure you’ll get really good at what you do. But that may end up getting outdated and then your skills will be obsolete. Stay on top of technology, stay on top of what’s going on in your field.”
