Last week we held our first ever Bugweek. We ran tests, wrote tests, resolved bugs, and offered workshops on all of the above. Overall it was a resounding success. At its peak, we had 8 community members contributing tests to various feature areas of Firefox. Here are some of the highlights of the week:
- 94 bugs triaged
- 41 testcases written
- 9 community contributors, 6 of them first timers
There are some things that went well, and some areas for improvement. Later this week, we will be holding an internal post-mortem. I’ll follow this up with a blog post to communicate the goods, bads, lessons learned, and some of the future plans.
Thanks everyone for your help and contributions.
