Mozilla Bugweek Day 1 Results

Anthony Hughes

Mozilla QA’s first ever week long event has kicked off!  Today we offered people workshops on using Litmus and writing test manual test cases.  We had several community members come out to participate in the workshops; most of which were newcomers to bugdays.  A couple of these contributors graduated to the point where they were able to contribute some actual testcases to Litmus; 8 testcases to be precise.  Considering the lack of lead-time in advertising this event, I was quite impressed.

I’d like to thank all those who came out, learned, contributed, and helped the community.

Tomorrow we will be continue our activities with a focus on Tabbed Browsing.  For the most part, we will be running through bugs and writing testcases.  If you’d like to help out and write some tests, join us on irc.mozilla.org #bugday.

Don’t worry if you missed the workshops from today.  You can run through the workshops all week to get up to speed.  Of course, we’ll be on hand to assist, answer questions, and provide guidance.

See you there!
