Testday tomorrow on Firefox 3.6 with the L10n and QA Communities!

This is a quick reminder that a test event will be held tomorrow from 7AM - 5PM PDT on Firefox 3.6 with the L10n and QA communities joined together! The plan is to play around with the new features and performing exploratory testing as well. For those that are interested, this will be a chance for people to possibly sign up and own the testing of these new features for the next release!.
 
Our Fx3.6 Test Lead, juanb, tchung as well as sethb and Pike will be available through IRC Chat ( channel #testday  on irc://irc.mozilla.org ) to help with any of your questions/comments/suggestions.As for where you can find the latest beta build, go to http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

Another Testday is around the corner!
 
This week's event will be held on Friday, November 20th, from 7AM - 5PM PDT.
 
It'll be a day completely devoted to testing Firefox 3.6 with the L10n and QA communities joined together!  We're going to playing around with the new features and performing exploratory testing as well. For those that are interested, this will be a chance for people to possibly sign up and own the testing of these new features for the next release!.

This marks the second testday in a row that hasn't been well attended. We didn't reach the 30 person minimum that we usually get regularly. With that said, we did get some cool work done as Aleksej is looking to be more and more like a mainstay in our Mobile-centric Testdays!

  • Beta (revision2) signed off
  • Bug verifications. Feature areas.
  • At least one more revision to come (beta3)
  • (Action!) We will spend thursday 11/12, between 10-1pm PST and go through 3.6 feature area testing. this will include focused work around testing the feature, verifying bugs, digging into edge cases.
