Mozilla is holding a Firefox mobile test day on Friday November 11th. This is the first public showing of a new direction for the Firefox mobile team. We have recreated Firefox mobile using native Android elements. This results in an application that:
starts up much faster than previous releases
has better integration between Firefox and the Android OS
uses a new interface that takes visual cues from the tablet work
This project is in the early stages of development, there are still some rough edges. Though we believe that the core features are ready for more widespread testing. We need help testing on a wide variate of devices. To help we need you to install Firefox mobile on your device and stop by our Test day this Friday. For detailed information about how to get started testing please read our test plan.
If the Etherpad says that there are over 16 people using it you can find a copy of the test plan on the Mozilla Wiki.
