Firefox Crash/Hang/Performance Test Day – Friday, October 28th

Hello Testers!
I’m here to announce this Friday, October 28, we will be holding a Crash/Hang/Performance testday. We want to ensure that end users have the best possible user experience, so we would like to follow up on some issues that we have seen filed in Bugzilla that probably need more investigation Here is what we will be doing:
Testing around some crash, hang and performance bugs filed recently in an attempt to confirm and escalate issues to developers
Testing various addons and plugins for potential crash and performance issues
Examples might include Firebug, Adblock Plus, Flash etc
Please join us if you have time. Don’t worry if you haven’t done anything like this before; we will have people on hand to help and guide you with testing. Our goal is to be able to add information to these bugs that will be useful in helping developers get to the bottom of what might be happening. Sometimes these types of issues are elusive so it is worthwhile to spend some focused time trying to get to the bottom of what might be going on.
