Unconfirmed Bug Triage
Help us keep Bugzilla clean... triage unconfirmed bugs!
Project Owner:
Tomcat

Project Details
The Mozilla community is constantly finding new bugs, existing bugs, invalid bugs, fixed bugs, etc.... you get the idea. The problem is we don't have enough people to stay on top of all the bugs that are filed, so there are a lot of them just sitting around.
This is the bug entry point project. Just like triage at a hospital, the members of this project will attempt to gather basic info on various bugs, give diagnostic steps, and ensure the bug is properly filed.
How you can help...
That's where you come in. The easiest set of bugs to resolve first are the "UNCONFIRMED" bugs. These are fairly new bugs or older bugs that no one has looked at yet. Many of them might be duplicates of other bugs, no longer bugs due to recent fixes, or simply invalid. We need your help to clean them up and resolve them to the appropriate bucket.
If this sounds like somethings you want to to, please sign up, and read the docs, starting with the Bug Triaging Guidelines.

Feedback for "Bug Triaging Guidelines"
http://quality.mozilla.org/documents-home/bugs-docs/bug-triaging-guidelines
"If you've been using Bugzilla for quite some time, you might already have these privileges. To double check, look at your Bugzilla Preferences. If your permissions say "Can confirm a bug", then you have them!"
Suggested change: The link turns out to be broken:
-> https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/userprefs.cgi?bank=permissions
Should be
-> https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=permissions

Sounds great
I really like the idea of this and it is kind of common sense once you look back in retrospect. I don't have the permission level yet but it is something I am interested in. dvd media server video conferencing equipment

Keep working
Well, let us know on IRC when you have enough bugs to get permissions.

Misspelling
Very friendly page. However there is a misspelling on the last sentence: "We can it bug triage and you can do it anytime." (emphasis mine).
I expect you meant to write: "We call it bug triage and you can do it anytime."
