SUMMARY:Firefox 8 - SUMO reports - Testday - September\, 16th
DESCRIPTION:Hello Mozilians everywhere! \nThis Friday\, September 16th we will make the web better\, by inspecting the SUMO reports that you posted on our support site.  Our main focus of the testday are the  top issues reported in SUMO: Add-on Compatibility\, Session Restore after Update and Profile Retention after Update. \nSome important test runs\, bug verifications/triage and exploratory testing  have been planed for the testday. \nThe main tasks will be: \n\nTesting the top100 compatible add-ons with Firefox 8 to ensure there is no breakage with any of those add-ons installed. Be careful to check that no memory leaks exist in the add-on or Firefox itself.\nTesting Session Restore after Update  from a previous Firefox Versions version\nBug verifications for all the areas of interest\nTesting that your profile is updated after a Firefox update and all your data is retained\n\nWe have created an Etherpad from where we can track our progress and where you can find all the information you will need. Feel free to work on any area you are interested in. There will be mozillians  in the IRC channel at #testday to help you out with anything you need. \nAlso if you have time please fill our survey \nTogether with your help we will make Firefox and the web a better place.
