Firefox QAWANTED Testday

July 13, 2012

Mozilla Testers and newcomers, Mozilla QA is organizing a testday this Friday, July 13. We need your help going through some QAWANTED Bugs. These are bugs where Mozilla engineers have asked for QA’s assistance to help debug the issue. Many of these bugs could be real issues but developers don’t have enough information to be able to code a fix.

This is where you come in. We need you to go through these bugs and try to find steps to reproduce, regression ranges, and possible test cases. Don’t worry if you’ve never done this before because we’ll have people on hand to guide you through the process.

At the very least, you’ll learn something new while helping a real Firefox bug get traction toward a fix.

I’ve set up an etherpad with more information and important links. Please review it and join our IRC channel (irc.mozilla.org #testday) on Friday; I go by the alias ashughes. If you are unable to attend the testday, feel free to run through the linked bugs on your own time.

Thank you in advance for your help!
