Thunderbird Bugday - Squashing trunk bugs

Join the Thunderbird Quality Assurance community this Thursday and help US cleanup the bug database. This is easy, you only need to know how to use your webbrowser, read and write english. The rest can be learnt while the even is taking place. We organize event so people that ant to give a hand can start doing it and get some help in a timely manner.

If you care about Thunderbird you should join - participating to those event is fun - it make Thunderbird something that you own - as you've helped make it better.

Testday: Fennec 1.0 Beta

The MozQA community is holding a Testday on Friday, October 2nd, for users interested in the use, development and/or testing of Fennec! We're going to have jmaher, the lead tester for Fennec available to help users test the new project, learn how to report out the results of the tests and just generally chat about the project with the community via IRC Chat (channel #testday on irc://irc.mozilla.org). So, if you're interested, come on by anytime between 7AM to 5PM PDT that Friday!

How do I get ready?

1. Download Fennec for any available Desktop/Mobile Platform:

For a desktop, download builds from here:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/2009-10-01-15-mobile-1.9.2/

For a Nokia Maemo devices, download builds here:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/2009-10-01-14-mobile-1.9.2/

 


2. Start Testing!

Fennec is getting very close to releasing a 1.0 version and we need your help to make sure its the best it can possibly be!
The Testday is going to be all about hacking and slashing the latest Fennec nightly build over various subjects such as website compatibility and UI changes while also completing other things like triaging mobile UNCONFIRMED/RESOLVED bugs, adding testcases to litmus on all available mobile/desktop platforms!
