Testday: Test-scripting With MozMill Day 1

In conjunction with the Free Software and Open Source Software conference at Seneca College, the MozQA community is holding a Testday on Thursday, October 29th.  This testday is for users interested in the use, development and/or testing of Mozmill! We're going to have the Mozmill team available to help create automated test cases, perform exploratory testing on Mozmill and just generally chat about the project for the community via IRC Chat (channel #testday on irc://irc.mozilla.org). So, if you're interested, come on by anytime between 7AM to 5PM PDT this Friday!

How do I get ready?

1. Download the Mozmill Extension here!

2. Start testing and test writing.

3. Use the Mozmill Test Writing Guide and Test Creation Guide for help getting started.

Join the MozQA Community in Testscripting with MozMill 1.2! ============================================================== Use Pastebin URLs to send code snippets to other members. To add any testscripts created, please attach them to a bugzilla bug that will be linked in the chat room topic as well as here on the day of the testday. Make sure to follow the instructions listed.

Testday: QA Weave Beta

The MozQA community is holding a Testday on Friday, December 4th, for people interested in the use, development and/or testing of Weave! We're going to have the Weave development lead, Mike Connor, help users get set up, and chat about the project with the community via IRC Chat (channel #testday on irc://irc.mozilla.org). So, if you're interested, come on by anytime between 7AM to 5PM PDT that Friday!

The MozQA community is holding a Testday on Friday, December 11th, for users interested in the use, development and/or testing of Seamonkey 2.0! We're going to have Robert Kaiser, the lead for SeaMonkey available to help users test the new project, learn how to report out the results of the tests and just generally chat about the project with the community via IRC Chat (channel #testday on irc://irc.mozilla.org). So, if you're interested, come on by anytime between 7AM to 5PM PDT that Friday!

Seamonkey is getting very close to releasing a 2.0 version and we need your help to make sure its the best it can possibly be!
The Testday is going to be all about hacking and slashing the latest Seamonkey nightly build over various subjects such as website compatibility and UI changes while also completing other things like triaging mobile UNCONFIRMED/RESOLVED bugs, adding testcases to litmus on all available mobile/desktop platforms!

The MozQA community is holding a Testday on Friday, November 20th, to bring the l10n and QA communities together for testing Firefox 3.6 Beta! We're going to have juanb, sethb, Pike and tchung available to help users with new features for the latest Beta as well as talk about what needs more in-depth testing and to generally chat about QA, Localization and Firefox 3.6 via IRC Chat (channel #testday on irc://irc.mozilla.org). So, if you're interested, come on by anytime between 7AM to 5PM PDT that Friday!

2. Head over to the Firefox 3.6 L10n Test Plan Wiki


3. Read the "Read Me First!" section and follow the instructions. From there, go on to any of the new features listed for Firefox3.6 and begin performing exploratory testing on those!
