Hi QA-Team,
Please join the Mozilla QA Community for a testday on Friday, October 26th, 2007!
We will test the upcoming Firefox 2.0.0.9 with Release Candidate Builds on this test day. You find the RC1 Builds for download here !
The event will run Friday, October 26th, 2007, from 7am - 5pm PDT
How you can help with this test day:
First join us in #testday on irc.mozilla.org. The choose one or more of
the following things to do:
- Run Basic Functional Tests (bft) of Full Functional Tests (fft) for Firefox 2.0 Branch in
Litmus. Ask for help in the testday channel if you're not familiar with
Litmus. If a testcase is terribly unclear, mark it as such.
- Ad-hoc testing of features and bug filing: Check out Firefox 2.0.0.9 Release Candidate Builds
by using as much of the features as you can. If you see an issue, raise
it in #testday so people there can confirm it Then search for the bug
in Bugzilla . If it's not on file, log the bug and again mention it in #testday so that it can be confirmed.
- Areas of focus: Install old Versions of Extensions and update to new Extension Versions, install flash and surf to Sites with flash and java content (like online game sites). Check your favorite sites and top sites for layout problems.
