We Nha Khoa is an Internet Service company, our client often got problems on watching video from youtube and all other sites when using Firefox. It will play the video for 2 second then stopped when the entire video is loaded up. I uninstalled firefox and re-installed it, it worked but now the samething happened. I try IE and it works fine. WHY? what is wrong. Thank you..
I love Firefox 3.0 ,I love it way better than Internet Explorer. I especially love Shiretoko. It is a smooth running browser and lot less hang-ups.
Hi all, I'm new here so if I've put this in the wrong place can someone please sort that out for me. :)
I have just updated to 2.0.0.17 - I have not yet migrated to FF3 because of some add-ons that will be incompatible. OS is XP Pro SP3.
Firefox should find something to speed up loading times I know it is faster, but barely.
Hallo!
I installed F 3.0.1 in two of my computers and the browser behaves strange in one of them. It causes a lot of scans or it scannes itself?
Does it scan for spyware? I dont need that, other programs do.
It takes much more memory than IE6 and when its scanning or
working with something it consumes 10% of the cpu-time.
But when I noticed everything seems normal in my other computer
I can not make any "judge" yet.
I use Zone alarm free and Avast free in both.
XP prof. is recently reinstalled in both.
The comp with normal behaviour has more RAM, 512 versus 384.
I’ve “upgraded” to 3.0.1 on my vista machine and the experience thus far has prevented me from upgrading any of my other machines.
First one of the biggest problems I am having is that downloading files, any files, ends up with no file in the downloaded area. I have tried several fixes.
1. Followed this http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_save_or_download_files
2. Completely uninstalled and reinstalled 3.0.1
3. Have insured my security settings are allowing firefox through, never had an issue with previous versions.
The only changes you SHOULD have made were:
1. Fix the memory issue
2. Continue to fix security issues
3. Made it possible to export the "about:config" settings
4. Shoot whoever it was that decided to make the best browser on the planet into
an IE7 / VISTA piece of........well you get the idea :)
I run Ghost backups on a secondary hard drive and am more that willing to test anything you'd like tested....I'm retired, and know comps. However....don't EVEN ask me to test that lemon called Firefox 3....that was your" ONLY mistake in what? ......5 years or so?
Trying Minefield on 64 bit system but none of the add-ons are compatible.
Ok. First of all you could go onto just about any website and find a least one error or warning let's say nba.com first thing I noticed was about 13 warnings in error console... okay that's not to bad, but this slows loading time, a lot. Then I click on the video on the right Called "Road To Redemption, Episode 3 tease". Furthermore I now look at my just cleared error Console and now look at that now I have a error, "invalid XML attribute value" and another warning, very surprising. Please fix this 'minor' issue. Also, similar issues occur when loading MTV.com...
