Upcoming Event: Crowd testing and Endurance testing with Firefox 4

March 25, 2011 @ 1:00 am - 5:00 pm

Greetings!

I’m happy to announce that next Friday, March 25th, MozillaQA will be holding a testday for Mozmill Crowd*, Endurance tests**, and Firefox 4. We’ve made some recent improvements to the Mozmill Crowd add-on and have started developing Endurance tests. Firefox 4 could be out any day now and we need your help testing these improvements.

Everyone is welcome to this testday — so if you’ve never done anything like this before, don’t let it stop you from attending.  We’ll have Mozmill developers and Mozilla QA people on hand to teach you what you need to know and guide you through the process.

We hope that you have the time to help us out!  If so, please join us on irc.mozilla.org#testday.  For more information, please see the test plan.

See you on Friday!

* Mozmill Crowd is an add-on for Firefox which makes it really easy to run our suite of automated tests; providing valuable feedback which is used to find bugs and improve the quality of Firefox.

** Endurance tests have recently been added to our automated test suite.  These enable us to perform stress testing on Firefox to see how well it performs.
