Firefox 3.1 Beta 3 Test Week!

Mozilla QA needs your help with Firefox 3.1 Beta 3 Test Week!
MozQA is trying a new event called Test Week. This is sort of Bugday and Testday rolled together but spread out over an entire week. We're changing to this format to improve flexibility for you, our QA community, to contribute to these events. In addition to the scheduled Bugday (Tuesday) and Testday (Friday) times, tasks will be posted that anyone can work on at anytime during the week.
This Test Week will focus on the Firefox 3.1 Beta 3 candidate, again :)
Please use the nightly builds from ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/nightly/latest-mozilla-1.9.1/ as we are not likely to have a candidate build available until the end of the week, hopefully by Friday, March 6th.
- Go to Litmus and run the a set of smoketests or BFTS against a candidate build. File any bugs you find in Bugzilla.
- Perform exploratory testing on the candidate builds.
- Test many of the newly implemented features such as:
- Private Browsing
- Clear Recent History
- <video> and <audio> elements, the W3C Geolocation API, JavaScript query selectors, CSS 2.1 and 3 properties, SVG transforms and offline applications. More info on this is located here: http://developer.mozilla.org/En/Firefox_3.1_for_developers
- Download one of our localized versions
- Verify recent fixed bugs from this query: http://tinyurl.com/7xvcoe .
- Ensure that the bug is fixed as stated in the bug
- When applicable, please change fixed1.9.1 to verified1.9.1
- Write test cases for in-litmus? requests.
How do I get ready?
- Download one of the Firefox 3.1 Beta 3 candidate nightly builds or, alternatively, the beta 3 candidates as they become available later in the week.
- Start Testing!
More Tips and Info
- To get a Breakpad crash ID, type about:crashes in the URL bar.
- To get build configuration information, type about:buildconfig in the URL bar.

get a life
4td8s, if what GTK48 said is true, then it's Mozilla who needs to move on and get on with their life. whether you are like or unlike some people here, or you can wait patiently or not, you need to get a life.

Hmmm. So wait.... and wait...
Hmmm. So wait.... and wait... and wait. I've got no hurries now either. They can release it whenever they want. Only that they should stop posting new schedules and then keep postponing them, post a schedule when you're sure, that's all.

I'll wait patiently for it
move on and get on with your life, GTK48. unlike some people here, I can patiently wait for FF 3.1b3 to be ready, no matter how long it takes.

Firefox 3.1 Beta 3 Delay
OK, I see now how it goes here. You remove any comments that are not complimentary towards Mozilla. I thought this was America.
