Firefox 3.5 Security Test Day
Thursday May 28, 2009 @ 12:19 - ashughes
MozQA is holding a Security Testday for Firefox 3.5! Security is something Mozilla takes very seriously. We have recently updated our security test cases and added some new ones for Firefox 3.5. Our community representatives will be available through IRC Chat ( channel #testday on irc://irc.mozilla.org ), QMO forums as well as the dev-quality newsgroup to help with any of your questions/comments/suggestions.
How do I get ready?
This is what we're doing...
Mozilla QA needs your help with the Firefox 3.5 Security Test Day!
You can help us out by going to Litmus and running the set of Security FFTs against Firefox 3.5. If you have any issues with test cases themselves, be sure to comment on the test result. If you find any bugs, file them in Bugzilla and add the bug number to the test result.
NOTE: If you do end up filing a bug, please type "[securitytestday]" into the whiteboard field of the bug.
Stay Connected and Do More!
All done the Security FFTs and looking for more to do? Try out the Safe Browsing FFTs!
You still want more? Do some exploratory testing by going to www.phishtank.com. Just click an ID and click "View site in new window". If the site is not blocked by Firefox, click Help menu > Report Web Forgery to report the website.
