Plugins are in important part of the browsing experience. That is why we could use your help testing the fix for https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=525533. Here is what you need to do tomorrow when the fix will have landed:

This document is referenced in the QMO FAQ, but I thought I would blog about it to remind our community that if they are new to the project, there is a useful presentation I created back in the spring that gives a good overview of the underpinnings of the Mozilla QA team and the work that we do.  You can find it here: http://www.slideshare.net/mozillamarcia/mozilla-under-the-hood-1257014.

Mozilla Crash Reporting and Analysis meetup last Wednesday

Monday, July 20th, 2009 @ 09:28 by marciaMozQA Badge

Last Wednesday we hosted our monthly meetup here in our offices in Mountain View.  The topic was "Learning about Mozilla Crash Reporting and Analysis."  You can see a link to the slides I presented here.

There was a good general discussion and a good suggestion by chofmann to perhaps consider looking more closely at Facebook crashes (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=504378 has been filed to start this effort). We are also going to create a Facebook testing project on QMO so if you are interested in that effort, I encourage you to join. Read More...

Follow us on Twitter!

Friday, July 10th, 2009 @ 14:05 by marciaMozQA Badge

We recently began using Twitter as another mechanism to communicate with our community.  We have a generic screenname you can follow for Mozilla QA news: MozillaQA

There are a few other Mozilla specific Twitter feeds that you may want to follow if you want to keep up with what is going on in the project:

http://twitter.com/MozCommunity

http://twitter.com/planetmozilla

http://twitter.com/mozillanews

Or you can always search for "Mozilla" or "Firefox" in the "Find People" section of Twitter to see if there any other users you might want to follow. Read More...
