Get connected with the QA Companion!
Wednesday, January 7th, 2009 @ 10:48 by marcia
Some of you might not know about the QA Companion addon, which can be downloaded from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5428.
The extension has many benefits, including:
*You can run Litmus manual test cases
*Launch IRC so you can connect directly with the Mozilla QA team in #qa
The extension in not compatible with the trunk and 1.9.1, but it can be installed in Firefox 3.0.5. Download it today and let us know what you think! It would great to have some new faces in the QA channel!

These tools are usually used
These tools are usually used separately, rarely integrated with each other to enable easier understanding and management of the whole process flow from specifications and code to releases and maintenance. Integrated tools would also provide more effective and seamless environment for software development with improved quality and productivity.

Bump MaxVersion
the author will need to update the maxversion for the extension and republish on AMO. meanwhile, you can do this yourself by updating install.rdf to 3.1.

This is a great tool
QAC is a really great tool! It allows for anybody to get involved with very little work. I encourage people to install it (a firefox extension) and try it out. If you are into QA and looking for good ideas, spend some time with it by running test cases, file a bug or two and see the real power of this tool.
